Delete Your Account

You can delete your Gridiron Football Pro account and its data at any
time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. Both routes do exactly
the same thing.
Option 1 — delete it in the app
- Open Gridiron Football Pro and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the list.
- Read the summary, type DELETE in the confirmation
box, and tap Schedule account deletion.
Option 2 — ask us by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email
support@gridironaction.com
from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm
by reply. If you write from a different address we may ask you to verify
ownership first, so that nobody can delete someone else’s account.
What happens next
Deletion is scheduled, not instant. There is a 7-day grace
period so that an accidental or regretted request can be undone.
You are signed out on every device as soon as you confirm.
To cancel during those 7 days, sign in again and return to
Settings → Delete account. Simply signing back in
does not cancel the deletion on its own.
What is deleted
After the grace period ends, the following are permanently removed:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile and display name
- Every franchise save, roster, depth chart and league you own
- Your trades, marketplace listings and other in-game content
- Push notification tokens and notification preferences
- Any unspent development points, sim credits and other consumables
What is kept, and for how long
A small amount of data is retained after deletion because the law
requires it or because it is no longer linked to you:
- Purchase and transaction records — retained for
up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting and consumer-
protection obligations. Purchases are not refundable on deletion and do
not transfer to a new account.
- Anonymised and aggregated analytics — retained
indefinitely. These carry no identifier that can be traced back to you.
- Security and abuse logs — retained for up to
90 days, then deleted.
- Routine backups — your data may persist in
encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion,
after which those backups expire and are overwritten.
