What we collect
Account data. If you create an account (email, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple) we store your email address and a unique account id so your saves, purchases and creations follow you across devices.
Gameplay data. Your franchise saves, dynasties, recruiting classes, created players, roster packs and in-game progress are stored on our servers so the game and the web studio stay in sync.
Optional app usage analytics. In app versions with the Usage analytics control, collection is off until you choose to allow it. Each game has its own choice and Google Analytics for Firebase property. Declining does not prevent play, sign-in, purchases or roster editing.
If enabled, we and Google process app interactions, session activity, app/OS version, device characteristics, approximate country/region and a random app-instance identifier to understand usage and improve the game. The SDK can also measure purchase and advertising interactions. We do not send your name, email, account ID, save ID or custom roster text to Google Analytics. Analytics advertising-ID collection, Google signals and ads personalization are disabled.
Change your choice in the game's Settings → Usage analytics. Turning it off stops future optional collection and resets the analytics data and identifier on that device; it does not erase previously aggregated reports. The new app properties use two-month retention for user/event-level Analytics data without extending retention when you return. Aggregated reports may be retained longer. Existing app versions may use the earlier first-party usage reporting described in their release's policy; updating installs the new controls as they roll out.
Google processes this information for us, including in countries outside your own, under its applicable data-processing terms and transfer safeguards. Read Firebase privacy information and Google's privacy policy. App analytics consent is separate from website cookies, advertising consent and Apple's tracking permission. Essential account, purchase, security and operational records are handled separately.
Website analytics. gridironaction.com uses Google Analytics to measure how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived here). Google Analytics sets cookies to tell returning visitors apart. This data is aggregated, is not linked to your game account, and is handled under Google's privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Crash and performance data. We use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance diagnostics so we can find and fix bugs. These reports are not linked to your name or email address.
Purchases. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play and RevenueCat. We receive purchase confirmations and product identifiers — never your payment card details.
Advertising. The free game shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve ads; see Google's privacy policy. When you watch a rewarded ad to earn an in-game item, your account id is passed through Google so the reward can be credited back to the right account. Buying the ad-free upgrade removes automatic ads. In Gametime Pro and Gametime College, optional rewarded videos remain available if you choose to watch them.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data. We don't show your email to other players. Community content (published roster packs, reviews) shows only the creator handle you choose.
Data deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing support@gridironaction.com. Full instructions, and exactly what is deleted or kept, are on the Delete Your Account page.
Gridiron Football Pro and College: deleting schedules your account, every franchise save, your rosters and your purchase history for permanent removal after a 7-day grace period, in case you change your mind. You are signed out on every device as soon as you confirm. Signing back in does not cancel the deletion on its own — to cancel, sign in and return to Settings → Delete account before the grace period ends.
Gametime Pro and Gametime College: open Account & Store and choose Delete account. Type DELETE and verify your password or linked sign-in provider. Deletion permanently removes your online account, wallet, published packs and cloud saves without a seven-day grace period. Local franchises remain on your device. Pro and College accounts are separate; deleting one does not delete the other. Account deletion does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage subscriptions in your Apple Account.
We send transactional email (verification, password resets) and, if you play actively, an optional weekly recap. Every recap includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Children
Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
