Set the depth chart
Put the players you want on the field in the right slots. Revisit the depth chart after bringing in a player or developing someone already on the roster. A stronger team starts with making good use of the players you have.
Read the cap sheet before spending
Review contracts, available cap space, and future commitments. Consider signing bonuses and dead money as well as the salary attached to a player. Leave room to address the rest of your roster.
Choose how to experience game day
Watch It follows the action, Coach It puts play calling in your hands, and simulation moves the schedule forward. Use the box score and player statistics afterward to understand where your team succeeded and where it struggled.
Develop with a purpose
Earn Development Points through game performance, rewarded ads, and minigames. Review the displayed upgrade cost and balance before spending. Think about the player’s role rather than upgrading every attribute equally.
Make it a weekly habit
Check your roster and depth chart, review finances, prepare for the next opponent, then look at the results. Over several seasons, those decisions become the history of your franchise.
